Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint Review - Uncensored & Uncuffed

Updated: Nov 17, 2020

Many of us struggle to find the perfect lip shades to suite our skin tone - be it a nude or a bright colour. I know for sure that red is the most hardest shade when it comes to finding the perfect one - not too dark/not too bright. Well, I have you covered today. I will be reviewing the two most popular shades in the Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip paints - Uncensored & Uncuffed.

I have always wanted to get my hands on the Stunna Lip paints and when I saw that they were on sale for only half price each on the Boots website, I couldn't help my self. I am not a person who usually wears red but that shade was so stunning that I just had to get it.

T H E R E V I E W:

The Stunna Lip paints (straight from the Fenty website) are weightless, long wear liquid lipsticks with a soft matte finish—born in a range of head-turning shades that look incredible on all skin tone. I totally agree with this as the shades I picked would suite literally all skin tones.

Packaging

Fenty Beauty packaging for all products undoubtedly is always super chic. I love how unique the hexagon and octagon designed packaging is that the product comes in. It looks super pretty and definitely worth putting on your dressing table. It is uniquely designed as it is quite unusual for a liquid lipstick to be put in a nail polish design bottle. The bottle itself feels very luxurious and comes in 4ml.

The applicator is a doe foot wand with a unique curvy design. It allows to to create a precision around your lips but personally I like to line my lips with a lip liner first and then go in with a lipstick. When you take out the wand quite a bit of product comes out but you also have a suction cap at the top to help wipe off the sides before application.

Formula/Longevity

The formula of the lip paints is liquidy when applied onto your lips and takes a few seconds to dry down. It does however feel very smooth on the lips and non drying. I have worn the Uncuffed shade lipstick for over 8 hours and didn't have any problem with it wearing off after eating and drinking. The lipstick does dry matte and is really comfortable on the lips and non - drying. To get the best pigmentation, you do have to shake the bottle to activate the product.

Arm swatches using flash:

- Uncensored is defiantly a Universal shade in red and would suite all skin tones

- Uncuffed is more of a mauvy nude pink shade

Overall, I really like both shades and how the feel and look on the lips. I am really pleased that I bought them as they are really wort the hype.
