Hey loves, I hope you are all doing well and staying safe during this third lockdown.
I am finally sitting down to review the Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define full coverage foundation, which I picked up a week a go. I have always wanted to try this out after being obsessed with the concealer from the same range and here I am.

The foundation itself is versatile as it comes in 50 shades perfectly designed to suite every skin type and tone. It is a light weight creamy foundation, which has a formula that dries down to a demi matter finish. The best bit about the foundation is that although it is a lightweight foundation, the coverage is buildable.
The packaging of the foundation is very chic. The product comes in a glass bottle with a jumbo sized foot doe applicator similar to the concealer from the same range. I really like the idea of having a jumbo sized applicator as it enables you to have much control of how much or how less foundation you want to apply. You also can control the coverage which I think is really nice. The bottle looks very expensive than it is especially for a drugstore foundation and in my opinion I think really stands out.
As mentioned above, the foundation comes in various shades which is really impressive for a drugstore foundation. This is perfect especially as you have a range of shades to select from for highlight and contour as well. The shades range from fair, light, medium, tan and darker shades perfect for all skin tones. I am in shade F10 which in also in the concealer shade and I use F5 as a highlight under my eyes.
Application wise, the foundation blends in like a dream. I tend to use a good skin prep beforehand and then use the foundation and it applies beautifully. On the Revolution Beauty website, it mentions you can use a brush or a damp beauty blender to work the foundation - I personally prefer a damp beauty blender to work my foundation into the skin. When applying the foundation straight from the foot doe applicator, you can get pretty full coverage but I love how you can control the amount of coverage you want. The foundation does dry to a demi matte finish which I like as I don't really like the full-on matte finish look in foundations. I have normal to dry skin but the foundation works good for me. The foundation looks good pretty flawless.

I have always loved the face range from Makeup Revolution and I think this foundation has also been added on to the list. I am really impressed with how it has applied and looked on my face and the pigmentation is full on coverage which I always look for in foundations. I think it is a great everyday foundation due to the fact that you can control the coverage you want and a little does go along way. You do get a natural looking finish despite the coverage being buildable, so you don't get that mask like feeling.
You get 23ml of product inside the glass bottle which is pretty decent compared to the amount of pigmentation the foundation gives. The foundation itself retails for £9.99 on the Superdrug, Revolution Beauty and Beauty Bay website.
Have you tried out this foundation? Let me know your thoughts below?
Until next time xx
